Suspected meth, fentanyl dealers arrested after brief chase in Abilene

Two suspects accused of dealing fentanyl and methamphetamine were arrested after a brief chase in Abilene.
These suspects were arrested the following charges after a traffic stop in Abilene Thursday:
- Dakotah Guerrero – Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance, Evading Arrest x2, Unlawful Carrying of Weapon $72,000 bonds
- Cielo Gonzalez – Manufacture/Delivery of Fentanyl, Manufacture/Delivery of Meth, Tampering/Fabricating Physical Evidence, Evading Arrest Detention bonds totaling nearly $120,000.


Abilene police say the suspects led police on a brief vehicle then foot chase during the traffic stop. Both were apprehended a short distance from their vehicle following their arrest.
While arresting the suspects, detectives found 2.2 pounds of methamphetamine, 1 ounce of fentanyl, scales, packing, and a handgun.
Guerrero remains held in the Taylor County Jail on bonds totaling $72,000, and Gonzalez is being held on bonds totaling nearly $120,000.
